Our developer-focused ProxPlatform is a lightweight, low power client and hosted server side engine to add presence events within mobile applications. We support Android 2.x, iPhone & iPad iOS 5 devices, with Windows Mobile forthcoming. Developers utilizing this platform can use the NeuAer action engine to trigger typically disconnected social ties, or present information to users based upon proximity events. Advanced power management techniques are used and we do not require the use of power hungry GPS radios unless absolutely necessary. Where GPS works best outside of a building, our technology is ideal for inside a space.
To use the platform, developers add the NeuAer lightweight mobile client within their application then tie into our robust back end server that can execute complex rules. These rules are created by developers and can be tweaked by end-users. Software triggers are based upon a smartphone having physical interactions with wireless devices in their environment.
Our APIs enable developers to create scripts that can be run and called via the ProxPlatform and feed data to third-party web services, or back to the mobile client.
